Nope. Normal word association. We just had the Melania thread and then two minutes later someone says fake.

I had a rather unique visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau. I was dating a polish girl at the time, and we drove in from Krakow. Almost everyone arrives in a tourist bus. We started in Auschwitz when there were still tourists around. But by the time we got to Birkenau the last bus had left. So the last half hour it was open we were walking through Birkenau (which people confuse with Auschwitz) where the train stops at the tower and the selection was held. It was very cold, and we were totally alone in the camp. It felt timeless, it could have been June of 1945. [image: 1738033762691-img_2625.jpeg]

And that picture is from the first inauguration, so the captions don't work.

Im going to guess no. Very few presidents pardoned people on their last day and even fewer pardon on their first.

Take the mechanical umpires from baseball and put them in football. Or maybe let the fans vote on close calls.

Stayed at a hotel in Tuscaloosa a few years ago that had a free happy hour for guests. From 5p until 630p it was Yuengling, chips and salsa. Apparently, there are very few coonasses in Tuscaloosa hotels...

@jon-nyc said in 15%: That’s federal prisons only though. Yep. I wonder what the state numbers look like. Some states might not even provide that data…

@Jolly said in Good luck fencing this.: Some wealthy person will buy it, if the thieves have the right connections. I agree. I think that there is a pretty big market for these types of things. Rich person has their own "gallery" in their house - stolen artifact goes there Would not be surprised if there was already a buyer even before the steal.

@jon-nyc said in Race-Based Hiring: Yeah but now we can sick the Civil Rights division of the DoJ on them, subpoena all communications, and fine them on a per-incident basis. And do a handful of corporations too. Then the lawyers and executives will actually shut it down and keep it shut down. You sir, are right.

I have a neighbor who has been working on building a cobra for... years. Seems like a fun hobby, but I have other interests, namely golf.
